Emergency Site Cleanup and Debris Removal

Get the site safe, clear and workable so every trade behind you can actually start.

Nothing else on the file starts until the site is workable

Site clearing is the unblocking step. It's not glamorous work, and it's the reason the rest of the file moves.

What we clear

Tree and vegetation debris

Downed trees, snapped limbs, brush fields and scattered wood, cut, chipped and hauled.

Damaged building materials

Displaced roofing, siding, framing, glazing, and collapsed exterior structures.

Destroyed exterior structures

Sheds, fencing, pergolas, decks and garden structures beyond repair — demolished and removed.

Scattered contents and property

Sorted, with anything potentially salvageable set aside and photographed rather than binned. Contents decisions belong to the owner and the adjuster, not to a crew clearing at speed.

Hazardous and regulated materials

Identified and isolated for appropriate handling, with referral to a licensed specialist where abatement is required. We won't quietly mix them into a general bin.

How we work a loss site

Assess and photograph first

Full site documentation before anything moves. Once material is in a bin, its condition, quantity and position are unverifiable.

Isolate hazards

Compromised structures, hanging limbs, unstable walls, exposed services. Exclusion zones and temporary fencing before crews work under or near them.

Establish access

Driveways, walkways and equipment routes cleared first so other trades can mobilize.

Sort as we go

Separated by stream — organics, construction waste, metals, salvageable contents. Cheaper to dispose of, better for the disposal record, and it means salvageable material doesn't disappear.

Clear methodically

Working from access routes inward, with hazard reassessment as material is removed and load paths change.

Protect what stays

Undamaged hardscape, planting and structures protected during clearing rather than becoming collateral damage of the cleanup.

Leave it clean

Raked, blown, swept, and genuinely ready for the next trade — not just emptied.

Documentation and disposal

Debris volumes get challenged, because they're easy to challenge. Ours are supported:

Where a site requires multiple loads or extended clearing, we report progress by day rather than delivering a single invoice at the end with no visibility into how the number was reached.

Then what

Site clearing is normally the first stage of a longer scope. Once the site is workable we can continue straight through: hazard tree assessment on what's left standing, hardscape and structure reconstruction, and landscape restoration.

Or we hand over and leave. Some files need us for one day and a clear site, and that's a perfectly good outcome. Insurance & emergency restoration →

Common questions

How fast can you clear a site?

Access and safety-critical clearing usually within a day. Full clearing depends on volume, access and how much sorting the site needs.

Do you dispose of everything?

We remove and dispose of what's within our scope, with receipts. Regulated materials get identified and isolated for appropriate handling.

What about items that might be salvageable?

Set aside and photographed, not disposed of. That decision is the owner's and the adjuster's.

Can you work overnight?

Yes, where the situation warrants it and noise restrictions permit. Emergency access clearing frequently happens overnight.

Do you provide the disposal documentation?

Yes, as standard — loads, volumes, facilities and receipts.
